What we collect

When you send an enquiry or a course application, we collect your name, email address, the service or course you are interested in and the details you choose to give us, such as your project description, business name, website, telephone number, target date, budget range, experience level and preferred course format.

Our web server keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

To review and reply to your enquiry or application.
To prepare a proposal, or share course dates and fees, if you ask for them.
To send occasional emails about our services and courses, only if you tick the optional box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To protect the site from spam and misuse.

Our lawful basis

We handle enquiries and applications on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and to take steps you ask for before entering a contract. We send marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. It is stored with the providers we use to run our website and email, and they process it only on our instructions. If any of them store data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and application details for up to 12 months after our last contact. If you become a client or learner, we keep records for as long as needed for the contract and our legal obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent for marketing. To make a request, email info@hkivo.com.
